You don't need to be a dancer to try a barre class but you might feel like one afterwards. These classes are fun and energetic and use the techniques of traditional ballet in a modern approach. If you want to work your glutes and core this is a great class to fill a lunch hour instead of being sat at your desk.
Breathwork and Meditation
The physical and mental benefits of Meditation and Breathing Practices are finally being recognised in the Western World. We are lucky enough to have some fantastic breathwork teachers in the area ready to welcome you in the space. Why not come and try it out....
We offer yoga for kids and tweens to help with balance, anxiety and general wellbeing. These classes are not dumbed down they are "proper yoga" led by teachers who have a lot of experience of working with children. While the kids are enjoying class the parents relax in the cafe, peruse the boutique or even indulge in a massage upstairs!
What men need to work on in yoga can be completely different to what women need to work on. Welcome to men only classes! Here we work on tight hips (which can lead to lower back problems), shortened hamstrings and general flexibility. Our teachers are highly experienced in teaching men only classes and we want to make yoga accessible to everyone to reap the benefits.
Pregnancy and post-natal yoga
Keep body aware during pregnancy and once the baby has arrived are crucial to wellbeing. Pregnancy yoga is extremely useful preparation for birth where you learn breathing practices and movement techniques to ease pain and maintain mobility. Post natal classes are designed to rehabilitate the body including the pelvic floor and are also highly beneficial for mental wellbeing.
This yoga class has been specifically developed to counter the effects of ageing on the body. Yoga is one of the few "sports" you can continue for a lifetime and is highly beneficial for maintaining flexibility, strength and peace of mind. Encourage your parents and grandparents to join - this is a great class and very sociable too!
